Yii2-random-provider demo

At first it may seem a little silly to present data in an unorderly fashion, yet this is exactly what the RandomProvider for the the Yii 2.0 PHP framework does. The motivation is that in some cases a random presentation of data may be more attractive and to the point. Think of the way YouTube presents its suggestions: everytime you visit the page, you are confronted with a slightly different selection.

RandomProvider is derived from ActiveDataProvider. As shown here, it works especially well together with my LoadMorePager.

Here, RandomProvider is used with a GridView, but it can also be used with a ListView.
